Todd Boehly ready to go Rogue to nab Mbappe for Chelsea

Todd Boehly reportedly ready to go rogue and go big with his eye on Paris Saint-Germain star, Kylian Mbappe.

Boehly’s Chelsea are said to have joined the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool in the hunt for the Frenchman who stands at odds with his current club, PSG.

Following a dramatic contract debacle between Mbappe and PSG, a plethora of clubs have been linked with the former AS Monaco star including Saudi Arabian club, Al Hilal who had proposed a £200m one year move to the Saudi Pro League.

However, Kylian Mbappe reportedly rejected a move to the middle east despite an alleged promise of £700m worth of money.

According to the Daily Record, PSG have encouraged Chelsea’s efforts to secure Mbappe’s signature following direct discussions with the Blues’ owner Todd Boehly regarding a potential transfer for the forward.

Chelsea, under the leadership of Todd Boehly, will be attempting a daring coup to negotiate a player-plus-cash deal to bring the France international to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Mbappe’s future at PSG still stands currently unclear as he is yet to sign a new contract with the Parisians, with PSG aware of his agreement to sign with Real Madrid next summer.

It is no longer a secret that his contract with the French Ligue 1 champions will expire next summer, which has forced PSG’s hand in making Mbappe available for sale for €250million (£214million).

If reports from the football world is to be believed, Kylian Mbappe could risk a season on the bench should a move away from PSG fail to materialize this summer.

Interesting days ahead of the Frenchman and PSG.
