Chelsea Football Club fans cut a frustrating figure after sitting by for weeks with no transfer activity in the early weeks of the transfer window being open.

Flash forward to Tuesday evening, reports came on that Chelsea via its new owner, Todd Boehly has gone ahead of London rivals, Arsenal and even Barcelona to cut a deal for remarkable Leeds forward, Raphinha.

It came as some sort of surprise to the Chelsea faithful and even general football fans as the popular names linked with the Brazilian talent were Arsenal and Barcelona.

There isn’t even a secret in the fact that the Leeds attacker down right favored the Barcelona as against the Arsenal or Liverpool move which he had once being linked with.

Chelsea coming into the party to swoop from under the rug Raphinha, and hastily reach an agreement with Leeds United on time without words or eyes on the deal came as a shock.

According to reports, the Blue side of London has also reached an agreement with Manchester City for another marquee signing of key forward, Raheem Sterling.

With the exit of Marina Granovskaia and Peter Cech from Stamford Bridge, the Blues fandom were left in a panic state, but with barely days to their exit, Boehly has moved in to act in the window.

As the Stamford Bridge side look set to welcome the duo of Raheem Sterling and Raphinha into the fold, Todd Boehly is certain to have announced himself to the football world.
