Three teenagers arrested for fraudulent act in Osun

Three teenagers, identified as David Emmanuel, Chibuike Ogbona, and Jesse Izedi, 19-year-old,  16 -year-old and 16 -year-old respectively, living in Lagos State, were paraded by the police in Osun State for fraudulently obtaining N351, 100 from a victim.

Wale Olokode, the state police commissioner, who paraded the suspects at the command headquarters in Osogbo, said the suspects defrauded a woman by  withdrawing the amount from her Union Bank account.

He said upon receipt of a complaint, police operatives began an investigation and were able to identify the first suspect, David, before others were also known.

Olokode said, “On 11th February, 2022 the complainant reported that the sum of three hundred and fifty-one thousand, one hundred naira only (N351,100) was fraudulently withdrawn from her Union Bank Account to a sparkle Bank Account number 100047892 which was later traced to the first suspect, second and third suspects.

“The Police immediately put an investigative mechanism in place and the three suspects were subsequently arrested at Ojoo area, Lagos State.

“The suspects confessed to the crime and they will be charged to court after the completion of investigation.”
