They are ready for Arsenal — Erik ten Hag

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has confirmed the availability of the Red Devils’ new signings ahead of Sunday’s premier league clash versus Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

Ahead of the Friday deadline hour, Manchester United were able to secure the services of Sergio Reguilon from Tottenham Hotspur on a loan deal after negotiations with Chelsea for Marc Cucurella fell through.

In his press conference, Erik ten Hag confirmed that Sergio Reguilon has joined his new teammates for team training ahead of the Sunday clash versus Arsenal, confirming the Spurs’ player’s availability.

The Dutchman also revealed new signing, Rasmus Hojlund has returned to team training and could be in contention to face the Gunners this weekend.

Rasmus Hojlund joined the Red Devils on the back of an injury that was detected after his signing by the club for a £72m deal from Atalanta.

Speaking ahead of the game, Erik ten Hag was quoted saying;

“Yes. He had a good training week. He’s doing well. Responding well. He will be available for Sunday.”

He also added on Reguilon’s signing;

“Reguilon is here, he trained. Yes [he will be available for Sunday].

“He’s very experienced, played for big clubs, played a lot of games in La Liga and Premier League. He has a very good background. We’ve seen he can play intense football and we are happy.”

“We had a problem with Shaw and Malacia and I think we responded very well to that emergency situation.”
