Temporary ceasefire: Benjamin Netanyahu speaks

Both the office of the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Hamas have refuted recent reports of a temporary ceasefire in Gaza.

Their statements dispels earlier claims that the conflict between Israel and Gaza had paused to facilitate humanitarian assistance and the departure of foreign nationals at the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt.

In a statement released by Netanyahu’s office, it was emphasized that

“There is currently no ceasefire and humanitarian aid in Gaza in return for removing foreigners.”

CBS reported that Izzat El Reshiq, a Hamas official, similarly dismissed the reports, stating unequivocally that there was no truth to the claims regarding the opening of the Rafah border crossing or a temporary ceasefire in the region.

According to both statements from the office of Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu and the Hamas. the conflict still goes on between both Israel and Hamas.
