Tacha loses N500K bet as Super Falcons crash out

Despite being an exciting affair, England vs. Nigeria in the FIFA Women’s World Cup ended in a losing affair for both the Super Falcons and TV reality star, Tacha.

Natacha Akide, ‘Tacha’ lost out on a N500,000 bet she placed in support of the Super Falcons going through to the quarter-final and displacing the England Lionesses.

However, evident from the result, the Lionesses were the side that prevailed in a 4-2 penalty shootout glory.

Prior to the kickoff, Tacha revealed she had placed a bet worth N500,000 on her side to crash England’s parade at the world cup.

On her Twitter handle, she wrote

“I’m about to bet 500k on ya heads Ohh!! So abeeg!! Bring it home #ENGNGA #FIFAWWC #ENG #NGA.” before the game.

Her reaction after Nigeria’s defeat however was the humor in the story.
