Paris 2024 Olympics: Ashleigh Plumptre, 3 others turn up in Camp

Four key players, Rasheedat Ajibade, Ashleigh Plumptre, Linda Jiwaku, and Jumoke Alani, have landed in the Super Falcons’ camp in preparation for the crucial 2024 Olympic Games qualifier against South Africa this weekend.

With more players expected to join the camp on Monday, including notable names like Shukurat Oladipo, Tochukwu Oluehi, Chidinma Okeke, and Gift Monday, anticipation is building ahead of the highly anticipated clash.

Head coach Randy Waldrum has extended invitations to a total of 22 players for the upcoming game, highlighting the depth and talent within the squad.

The Super Falcons are set to host their South African counterparts, Banyana Banyana, at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Friday. This fixture marks a crucial step in their journey towards qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Following the home fixture, the Nigerian team will travel to Pretoria for the reverse fixture against South Africa next Tuesday, further emphasizing the significance of these upcoming matches.
