Scores kidnapped as gunmen attack Catholic school in Kaduna

A yet-to-be ascertained number of students have been kidnapped after gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked St. Albert the Great Institute of Philosophy.

The catholic seminary school is located at Fayit community in Kagoma Chiefdom, Jama’a local government area of Kaduna state.

The gunmen stormed the school on Monday night at about 8pm and began a shooting spree, causing fear and panic in the area.

Some students were abducted while others sustained various degree of injuries during the attack.

The shootings which lasted for about an hour came to an abrupt end after the local vigilantes intervened and chased the gunmen away.
