NDLEA arrest heavily pregnant woman with Meth in Edo

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA has apprehended a heavily pregnant lady with 82 pinches of methamphetamine in Edo State.

The 25-year-old lady, identified as Haruna Favour, was arrested on Friday, September, 9, with Meth and other varieties of Loud, Arizona, cannabis, and Codeine-based cough Syrup in Auchi, Edo State.

Femi Babafemi, the Director of Media and Advocacy of NDLEA, on Sunday, September 11, confirmed the arrest.

Meanwhile, another suspect, Paul Ali, 47, was arrested on the Okene-Abuja highway with 1,404 bottles of Codeine based syrup weighing 190.94kg and 2,040 ampoules of pentazocine injection coming from Onitsha, Anambra State to Sokoto State.
