Moment man whose father is an Islamic Cleric become a Catholic Priest

In a heartwarming display of religious tolerance, Moses Ibn Idris, the son of a Muslim cleric, has been ordained as a Catholic priest.

The ordination ceremony, which took place in Jalingo, Taraba State, was attended by the father of the newly-ordained priest, Idris.

Rev. Fr. Ibn Idris attended the Sacred Heart Minor Seminary in JY, Jalingo, and was ordained in 2021.

Both of his parents are Muslims, but it was gathered that his father gave his blessings when his son decided to convert to Christianity and join the seminary.

A photo of the father and son, which was shared by Voices Nigeria on Facebook, has gone viral on social media platforms.

While many social media users found the inter-religious embrace to be heartwarming, some asked pertinent questions.
