Mercy Johnson Shares Worry Over Daughter Seeking To Know About ‘Her Past’

Popular Nigerian actress, Mercy Johnson has expressed worry as her little daughter seems to have an interest in her past life as a young actress.

The veteran, Mercy Johnson who is known for her vibrant nature in her movie roles as a young actress has revealed how her first child, Purity began asking questions related to her early career.

According to her, Purity has started asking questions about some of her explicit roles in movies.

Mercy Johnson also claimed that her daughter even conducts searches online about her mother.

She revealed this during an interview with Goldmyne TV about her upbringing and how becoming a mother changed her life.

The mother of four claimed to have regretted some of her early choices as embarrassing her family is the last thing she would do.

She continued, saying that she has outgrown taking roles that would be up questions as she is now answerable to her family.

In her words; ”Age is telling on me. I’ve grown past that level, I’m answerable to too many people: my husband and my kids. I hate to embarrass them in any way.

My daughter is growing. She gets hold of my phone sometimes, begins to google, and goes like, ‘Mum, my friends said…’ And they’re very inquisitive.

“I don’t think it’s (playing n*de scenes) something I want to do to make my kids question me in any way or have something in their mind that they want to ask and they can’t.

“My sense of maturity is better, my judgments are better. Some of the errors I made in the past are things that I wouldn’t do now. Some choices I made back then I wouldn’t make now.”
