Man hides items around his waist, gets caught in Lagos supermarket (photos)
A young Nigerian man who went shopping at a supermarket has been caught with ‘stolen’ items shoplifted around his waist.
The Facebook user, Segun Availeth, who shared the story, said the young man was pretending to be shopping before the attendant noticed something very unusual around the man’s waist. When he was confronted to lift up his shirt, they found six tins of sardines hanging around his underwear.

Shoplifting is the theft of goods from an open retail establishment, typically by concealing a store item on one’s person, in pockets, under clothes, or in a bag, and leaving the store without paying. With clothing, shoplifters may put on items from the store and leave the store wearing the clothes.
