Man Arraigned For Marriage Falsification In Lagos
A man identified as Edmund Uzoma was arraigned by the police on Wednesday in a Yaba Magistrates’ Court Lagos State for alleged bigamy.
Uzoma was arraigned before Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun on charges of three counts of bigamy and falsification of information on a marriage certificate.
He allegedly contracted another wedding while already married and made false declarations about being a bachelor.
The defendant pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the amount of N1 million with two responsible sureties.
The case was adjourned till March 15, 2023.
