Liverpool set to complete Ryan Gravenberch deal

Liverpool leave it late to sanction a move for Manchester United target, Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich, as it is being confirmed the Netherlands international is set for a Liverpool future.

The Dutchman will be travelling to Merseyside tonight as confirmed by transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, to complete medical tests ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.

The move was sanctioned after Ryan Gravenberch spoke with the club’s manager, Jurgen Klopp and had agreed personal terms with the club prior to Bayern Munich agreeing to terms for the Dutchman’s exit from Munich.

The move is reportedly on a €40m plus €5m in add-ons deal.

Ryan Gravenberch becomes Liverpool’s fourth signing of the summer after Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboslai and Wataru Endo in the club’s midfield rebuild following the dramatic saga that was the Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia failed bid.

The Bayern Munich star was also on the radar of Liverpool’s rivals, Manchester United who had reportedly made enquiries prior to Liverpool finalizing moves to bring the Dutchman over to Merseyside.

It is generally believed that the Red Devils will be able to complete the move for Fiorentina midfielder, Sofyan Amrabat with Gravenberch moving over to the Reds.
