JUST IN: PMB orders resignation of Emefiele, others
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha has reportedly signed a circular ordering the resignation of Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele.
The circular with reference number SGF/OP/ I/S.3/XII/ 173 was titled, ‘Ministers, heads of government agencies, ambassadors and other appointees with political ambitions to resign’.
Topnaija sources confirmed that the circular copied the office of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, and other agencies.
President Muhammadu Buhari had during Wednesday’s FEC meeting, ordered all heads of agencies, departments, parastatals, and ambassadors with political ambitions to resign.
