A Dana Air flight experienced a crash landing at Lagos Airport on Tuesday morning before take off.

Despite the harrowing incident, no fatalities were reported at the Lagos Airport.

Dana Airlines management grounded the aircraft registration number 5N BKI after the incident.

The incident, attributed to the wet runway caused by early morning rain, involved a flight from Abuja with 83 passengers and crew.

The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) has dispatched investigators to the scene.

According to Kingsley Ezenwa, Dana Air’s Head of Corporate Communications, all passengers and crew disembarked safely, with no injuries reported.

The airline has informed relevant safety agencies and grounded the aircraft for further investigation.
