2024 UTME: NSCDC lauds smooth conduct in Zamfara

The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in the state.

Sani Mustapha, the State Commandant of the Corps, conveyed his approval while conducting routine monitoring of the examination across Gusau metropolis and other suburban areas where the 2024 UTME is being held.

In a statement released by the Command’s spokesperson, Ikor Oche SC, it was highlighted that before the commencement of the 2024 UTME, the Commandant deployed personnel to various examination centres in alignment with the Corps’ Safe School initiative program.

“The UTME Computer-Based Test (CBT) exercise is being conducted in seven centres spread across four local government areas of the state,” the statement noted.

The State NSCDC boss expressed optimism that the examination would conclude peacefully, stating that all necessary arrangements had been put in place to monitor and prevent any infractions during and after the examinations.
