Jurgen Klopp wants the Man United sack clause in his Contract

The big English derby is upon us and various sections of the divide has been talking, from Wayne Rooney and now, Jurgen Klopp.

Jurgen Klopp who recently sent a warning to the Man United fan base going into the fixture, sent a lot of mixed reactions on the internet with his comments on being awarded all 3 points should the fan bases’ protests hurt the fixture.

And now, the German tears into the club for its numerous sacking of managers, joking that if he knew, he would have included such clause in his own contract, seeing how beneficially it was.

Erik ten Hag in a matter of 7 years has become Manchester United’s fifth manager since Jurgen Klopp’s time at Anfield.

The Liverpool manager then addresses how little progress has been made by the club with such philosophy of hiring and firing managers as soon as they fail to deliver.

“Imagine the money Liverpool have saved from not paying them all off!” he said, laughing ahead of Monday’s clash.

“I should have said that when I signed my last contract… That would be an interesting number, by the way!

“(Ten Hag’s idea) I think it’s clear when you know his Ajax team. You always have to prepare for a different United when they have a different manager. That would make me unnecessary as well if everybody could sit here and the opposing teams would always look the same. Of course, it depends on who is in charge. And they all play differently – very different.

“Between Van Gaal and Mourinho was very different. You have to prepare completely differently, and we will.”

Jurgen Klopp though will hope his comments does not come to bite back at him should his team fall to a defeat in the Monday night fixture.
