Jurgen Klopp reacts to upcoming Liverpool documentary
Liverpool Football Club has officially confirmed the production of a multi-episode TV documentary series that will capture the final months of Jurgen Klopp‘s reign as the team’s manager.
The announcement, made through the club’s social media platforms, revealed that filming with Lorton Entertainment commenced before Christmas, following Klopp’s approval.
The documentary, set to air after the conclusion of the 2023-24 season, aims to provide fans with an exclusive and unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at Liverpool FC. Klopp, in a statement addressing the project, expressed his motivation for undertaking such an endeavor in his farewell season.
“With this being my final season, I thought we should provide a rare opportunity for viewers to have a more inside look at what makes this club so special – its people,” Klopp explained.
This decision comes as a departure from Klopp’s earlier stance, as a previous statement from the manager during his early days at the club indicated his opposition to such behind-the-scenes documentation.
Some fans have theorized that the documentary could be one of the factors that is forcing the German to quit his position as the club’s boss. However, nothing of such instance has been confirmed to be the case.
