Jurgen Klopp offered new role ahead of Liverpool exit

If there is one thing guaranteed this summer, it is that Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp isn’t going to stay idle without at least a job offer after bidding Anfield a farewell.

According to latest reports, one of such offers has reared its head to tempt the German as he nears the end of his Liverpool career at Anfield. It is reported that ahead of the Euro 2024 tournament in Germany, sports media platforms like the BBC are eyeing Jurgen Klopp for a punditry job in the June tournament.

According to sources cited by the Daily Mail, both BBC and ITV are eager to enlist Klopp as a pundit for their Euro 2024 coverage. Recognizing Klopp’s widespread appeal and charismatic persona, both networks view him as a “must-watch, marquee signing” in the competitive landscape of televised football coverage.

The Euro 2024 tournament, set to take place in Klopp’s native Germany, presents a fitting backdrop for his potential punditry debut.

Klopp is anticipated to attend the tournament as a spectator, having already secured tickets for Germany’s group stage matches, including their opening fixture against Scotland on June 14 in Munich.

However, the possibility of Liverpool’s season ending beyond the current premier league calendar may hinder Jurgen Klopp from considering the offer.

Should the Reds progress to the FA Cup final scheduled for May 25 at Wembley and then the Europa League final in Dublin in May 22, this might leave the German needing lots of time off away from being involved in football.
