It is so stupid of you to treat your girlfriend as a queen – Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, a Nigerian controversial writer and former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has declared boyfriends who treat their girlfriends as ‘Queens’, “stupid”.

Omokri was the host of Transformation with Reno Omokri, a Christian teaching TV show broadcast on San Francisco’s KTLN and Detroit’s Impact Network. He is the founder of a multimedia project, Build Up Nigeria, and has produced a series of short films in the U.S. According to him, a woman can only be a queen to her boyfriend when she is married to the man.

The 47-year-old man also disclosed that a Queen is a woman married to a King, which means a man can not treat his girlfriend like a Queen if he is not married to her.

Advising young men, Reno wrote;

“Dear men, You say you want to treat your girlfriend like the queen she is. Do you know how stupid you sound? A queen is a woman that is MARRIED to a king. Does that not tell you that it is only your wife you are meant to treat like a queen?.”
