Insecurity: Gunmen attack Ebonyi police station
Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State is presently experiencing unrest as scores of unknown gunmen attacked the Divisional Police Headquarters in the area.
It was gathered that these gunmen attacked the security formation in the early hours of Monday and freed detainees in the station and set ablaze patrol vans in the station
The attack plunged the area into chaos with officers and residents scampering around for safety.
Loveth Odah, Police Public Relations Officer in Ebonyi, confirmed the attack to journalists.
”Officers have been deployed to the affected station” she said
