"I won't go where I can't smoke Weed" -- Burna Boy

Nigerian musician and celebrity, Burna Boy sets his standard straight as he counters Emirati laws on the smoking of Marijuana.

In a recent performance, the Nigerian artiste opened up on his refusal to perform in the United Arab Emirates despite being offered $5 million.

According to the Grammy Award winner, he had to turn down the $5 million to perform in Qatar because its laws prohibited the smoking of marijuana.

Burna Boy disclosed this while performing with his band, Outsiders explaining that he had to turn down the offer for reasons that he would not be permitted to smoke weed in public.

Emirati law prohibits smoking in parks, beaches and all public recreational areas in Dubai.

“Just now I turned down dubai money, 5million dollar na small thing cos me I no dey like to dey go where dem no go gree allow me smoke igbo (weed).”
