I Never Bullied Garnacho—Scott McTominay Pleads
In the age of liberalism, just about every action is bound to be seen as offensive by quite a host of people ready to pen criticism on their mobile phones, and a victim of such is reborn Scott McTominay whose recent action with teenage teammate, Alejandro Garnacho has warranted some criticism.
The Scottish midfielder in a footage captured from the club’s training facility at Carrington presented the opportunity for an allegation of bullying by media eyes who witnessed the event.
This came after the midfielder was caught on camera kicking and clutching the hat of young winger Alejandro Garnacho during practice.
Scott McTominay, who stands as a midfielder for Manchester United, has responded to the allegations of bullying Alejandro Garnacho at the team’s training facility.
On Wednesday night, the Red Devils defeated the league-leading Burnley in the Carabao Cup.
On December 27, United will host Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford, but Scott McTominay ahead of the game had to deal with some uncomfortable questions regarding the Carrington footage.
He told The Athletic:
“I had a lot of people saying that was bullying. That was just a bit of a joke!”
“He needs to keep his feet on the ground and keep working hard and he can be one hell of a footballer,” said McTominay added while speaking about the Argentine winger.
