How Liverpool can sign Jamal Musiala to upset Bayern

Liverpool Football Club is well on the path towards rebuilding its team entirely, and with the rumors surrounding Mohamed Salah’s future, they might be looking towards bringing a Bayern Munich star, Jamal Musiala into the club.
There have also been links to former Manchester City star, Leroy Sane also from Bayern Munich, with the Reds reported to mulling over the idea of splashing the money on the German if Mohamed Salah eventually departs the club.
But letting go of Mohamed Salah won’t come easy let alone replacing the Egyptian’s quality.
However, one interesting prospect is in German international and Bayern Munich wonderkid, Jamal Musiala.
According to German news outlet BILD, Liverpool is now poised to seize the opportunity presented by Musiala, who has apparently suspended contract negotiations with the Bavarian giants.
The report by BILD has ominously characterized the situation as “a dangerous one for Bayern.”
The 20-year-old Jamal Musiala has long been on Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp’s radar, as he continues to impress with his burgeoning talent.
The stalling of contract talks between the young midfielder and Bayern can be attributed to two significant factors.
First and foremost, Bayern Munich’s performance this season has fallen far below their usual standards.
The team, currently managed by Thomas Tuchel, occupies a disappointing third place in the Bundesliga table, trailing behind Bayer Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart.
Secondly, Musiala is reportedly concerned about his lack of a guaranteed starting position in Bayern’s star-studded lineup.
BILD disclosed that Musiala has experienced the inconsistency of being lauded for a Man of the Match-worthy performance in the Champions League, only to find himself benched in the following weekend’s Bundesliga clash with Freiburg.
While Liverpool’s interest in Musiala has now been publicly acknowledged, they may face stiff competition from other prominent clubs across Europe also monitoring the situation closely.
The young German midfielder is undoubtedly a prized asset, and his potential departure from Bayern is likely to spark a bidding war.
However, Liverpool appears to have a hidden card up their sleeves in their pursuit of Musiala. Ryan Gravenberch, a player who recently departed Bayern for Anfield, could be instrumental in convincing Musiala to make the move.
Having previously shared the Bayern dressing room with the 20-year-old, Gravenberch possesses a unique insight into the club and can effectively advocate for Liverpool as a destination of great promise for the talented young player.
