Ooni of Ife $180,000 alleged scam: New revelations emerge

Ikeja Electric Distribution Company (IE) has implemented a reduction in electricity tariff for customers categorized under Band A from N225/kWh to N206.80/kWh, effective May 6, 2024.

This decision comes following a circular issued by the company’s management.

The adjustment aims to offer relief to customers falling under this band, ensuring they now pay N206.80/kWh instead of the previous N225/kWh rate mandated by the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).

The circular emphasized that customers within Band A can expect uninterrupted electricity supply for 20 to 24 hours daily.

However, it’s important to note that the tariff for customers in other categories remains unchanged.

“Dear Esteemed Customers, Please be informed of the downward tariff review of our Band A feeders from N225/kwh to N206.80/kwh effective 6th May 2024 with guaranteed availability of 20-24hrs supply daily. The tariff for Bands B, C, D, and E remains unchanged. Signed: Management.”
