Davido Celebrates Promotion of Personal Police Escort to Inspector
Popular Nigerian singer, Davido, has taken to social media to celebrate the promotion of his personal police escort, Bawo, to the rank of inspector in the Nigerian Police Force.
The Nigerian Police Force recently announced the promotion of 90 officers to higher ranks, and Bawo was among those recognized for his outstanding service.
In a video that surfaced online, Davido was seen congratulating Bawo on his promotion. The singer could be seen affixing a new badge onto the uniform of the stolid-looking officer, symbolizing his new rank. Davido then extended his hand for a congratulatory handshake, showing his support and appreciation for Bawo’s achievement.
“Congratulations on your promotion to Inspector of the Nigeria Police Force,” OBO remarked as he pinned the badge on his vest.
Bawo also took to his page to express his thanks to the musician for the recognition.
He wrote;
“Thank you my Good Boss @davido for the decoration of my new rank. For the love you’ve always been showing me I can’t pay you but I pledge to be faithful, LOYAL and honest. May God keep protecting and blessing you for us, Amen,” .
