Daddy Freeze speaks on why he has not set eyes on his children in 7 years (Video)
Controversial media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has spoken out concerning rumors of him being an absentee father to his children.
According to some speculations, the media personality has not seen the children he had with his ex-wife, Opeyemi in 7 years.
TopNaija understands that during a live session with Nigerian comedian, Julius Agwu, Daddy Freeze confirmed the rumors, stating that he hasn’t had any contact with his children for almost a decade.
It should be noted that Daddy Freeze married Opeyemi Olarinde, and their relationship resulted in the birth of two children. However, the couple divorced in 2014, with both sides alleging infidelity and physical abuse against one other.
According to him, the only contact information he has to reach his children is his ex-wfe’s phone number.
Despite these conditions, Daddy Freeze signalled that he was OK and advised people not to be unduly worried about him.
The controversial media personality expressed his concern for his children’s well-being and expressed hope for their protection.
In his words, “I never see my kids for seven years; everybody wey dey follow me know. If I see them for road, I no fit recognize them. The only number their mama give me to reach them na her number. I just pray they are okay. I am fine, if you all her worried about me, I am cool.”
It’s worth noting that Daddy Freeze entered into matrimony with Opeyemi Olarinde, and their union resulted in the birth of two children. However, the couple went through a divorce in 2014, with both parties levying allegations of adultery and domestic violence against each other.
