The charge read, “That you, Onyeka Nwanfor, and others now at large, on the same date, time and place, in the aforesaid Magisterial District, did rape a woman, 30, and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 260 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.”
The Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubenje, did not take the defendant’s plea.
Kubenje remanded Nwanfor in a correctional facility in the state.
The case was adjourned till March 28, for mention.
