“No one is worth dying for” Iyabo Ojo reacts to Obi’s loss
Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has pledged to continue supporting Peter Obi despite his loss in the presidential election.
The actress made this known via her social media handle, where she also called on her followers to remain calm and embrace peace.
Iyabo Ojo is known for being a vocal supporter of Peter Obi, the former Governor of Anambra State and the Vice Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 presidential election.
Peter Obi, who was widely seen as a strong contender in the election, lost to the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In her post, Iyabo Ojo expressed her unwavering support for Peter Obi, describing him as a “great man.” She also urged her followers to remain calm and avoid any actions that could lead to violence.
“Please, my fellow obedient, be calm, no one & nothing is worth dying for, we live to fight another day, so please embrace peace,” she said. “Let’s all allow the right people of the law to handle the case… history will never forget the #obidientmovement Love you all…”
The actress’s post has since generated a lot of reactions from her fans and followers, with many commending her for her show of support and her call for peace.
Some of her followers also expressed their disappointment at Peter Obi’s loss, while others urged him to continue fighting for the people.
