Chinedu Ikedieze reveals reason he hid his family from fame (Video)

Veteran Nollywood actor, Chinedu Ikediexe, popularly known as Aki, has revealed the reason he chose not to involve his family in social media fame and recognition.

Chinedu, one of the most loved Nigerian actor, stated that he decided to keep his wife and children from the eye of the public because he wants them to be free to move around without some preying eye looking and stalking them.

This is coming after the actor, during an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, stated that there was a point he had suicidal thoughts until God intervened.

Now in another portion of the interview, the 45-year-old actor mentioned that he refrains from showcasing his wife and kids on social media to allow them a sense of “freedom.”

In his words;

“I have children but I decided to put them aside because I’m the celebrity, they are not. I just want them to be free because the moment everybody gets to know them, it would affect them. And I don’t want that.

“So, I hide them even my wife apart from our wedding announcement that I made, so that she can go to market, do every other thing without much ardour.”

It’s worth recalling that Chinedu Ikedieze tied the knot with his beloved wife, Nneoma Nwaijah in 2011. Even though the couple has been blessed with children, the actor has consciously chosen to maintain a veil of secrecy around the specific details.
