Chika Jane Oranika also known as ‘Chika’ is a 24 years old American rapper, model, and actress.

She was born in Montgomery, Alabama, US on the 9th of March in the year 1997. Chika gained so much popularity on social media in 2018 when she dropped a rap video as a sort of reply to J. Coles song titled 1985. Few days later, she released a diss video in reply to Kanye West“Jesus Walk” track, the video gained millions of views, shares and attention from some top hip hop stars.

She is the youngest of her Nigerian-American parents’ three daughters. Chika identifies as bisexual and addresses her sexuality in her music and videos.

In 2019 she signed a record deal with Warners record label and has go on to release tracks which includes Songs About You, High Rises, Crown, Balencies. In 2020, she was nominated for the Best New Artist at the Grammy’s Award.
