Buhari receives briefings from Osinbajo after UK trip

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, received briefing from Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The briefing was intended to update President Buhari of developments while he was gone.

Recall that the President left Nigeria on Tuesday, March 30, momentarily after a security meeting with defense and intelligence chiefs, and also other security segment directors.

Buhari, last week Thursday returned to the nation following 16-day medical checkup in the United Kingdom.

According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Femi Adesina had clarified that the President was going to the United Kingdom for a routine medical check-up.
