BREAKING: Alaafin of Oyo joins ancestors
The Alaafin of Oyo, Lamidi Adeyemi III, has been reported dead in the early hours of today Saturday, April 23.
According to TopNaija.ng sources, the monarch died at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.
Alaafin Adeyemi was aged 83 years and he ruled for an unprecedented 52 years making him the longest ruling Alaafin ever.
This is a disheartening news for the Yoruba race as all expect official announcement from Governor Seyi Makinde later today.
