Be happy Messi agreed to wear your shirt
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has received harsh criticism from Spanish journalist Cristobal Soria for suspending their star player, Lionel Messi.
The Argentine footballer was suspended by the club for two weeks and banned from using their training facilities after traveling to Saudi Arabia without authorization.
Messi is an ambassador for the country, and he traveled there following PSG’s defeat to Lorient despite being required to report for training the next day. Soria, who works for El Chiringuito, launched a scathing attack on PSG, saying that the club should be grateful to have a player like Messi on their team.
“One-half of Lionel Messi has more history and importance than all of PSG put together. Punish him? But what did you believe?” Soria said. “PSG should be forever grateful that Messi wore their shirt and defended their crest.”
Soria’s comments came after PSG’s decision to suspend Messi, which has received mixed reactions from fans and critics alike. Some believe that the club was within their rights to punish the player for not following protocol, while others feel that the suspension was too harsh.
PSG is currently leading the Ligue 1 table, but the suspension of Messi has raised concerns among fans about the team’s future performance. Messi joined PSG in August 2021 after leaving Barcelona, where he had spent his entire career. He has been a vital player for the French team, helping them to win several games and contributing significantly to their success this season.
The suspension of Messi has also raised questions about his future with the club. Some reports suggest that he may leave PSG at the end of the season, while others believe that he will continue to play for the team. Regardless of what happens, it is clear that Messi’s presence on the team has been significant and that he is considered one of the best football players in the world.
