Nigerian actor battles for life after being shot by Police

Azeez Ololade Ijaduade, a renowned figure in Yoruba Nollywood known for his roles as an actor, movie director, and producer, has reportedly fallen victim to a shooting incident involving a Nigerian policeman in Iperu, Ogun State.

The distressing news was conveyed by his colleague, Abiodun Adebanjo, who took to Instagram to share the unfortunate development. Adebanjo revealed that Ijaduade’s life hangs in the balance following the incident and disclosed that he is currently receiving treatment at the Babcock University Teaching Hospital.

In a plea for urgent intervention, Adebanjo implored anyone with access to the Inspector General of Police or the Commissioner to step in and assist in the dire situation.

His social media post read, “Please, we need help in Iperu. My director, Azeez Ijaduade, @kingzeez1, was shot by a Nigeria Police personnel. He is presently at Babcock University Teaching Hospital. Anybody with the contacts of the Police IG or Commissioner should reach out.”

The circumstances surrounding the shooting and the extent of Ijaduade’s injuries were not immediately disclosed.
