Azealia Banks Opens Up About Her Rape, Says She Was Drugged

On Saturday morning, Azealia Banks posted and quickly deleted an Instagram story claiming she just got raped. She was reportedly on her way to police office headquarters and was mentally and emotionally in a bad state. Therefore, there was no detail about the incident.

Earlier Page Six reported that after the incident Azealia said:

I just feel so dirty and stupid right now, you know? We were just hanging out and one thing led to another. I just feel really dumb, because it was partially my fault… I’m just like sitting here like feeling f–king low and sh-t… I just want to f–king disappear right now.

But days have passed and the rapper is in a better place and now able to share her story. She believed she was drugged with “ghb” by her rapist, who she says is a “White NYC financial district druggard”. She claimed she was aware of what was going on though she was drugged. She added that she was “dry” so there was no real penetration because she struggled with her assailant. However, she also said she “was alert enough to make sure there were condoms”. This part of her story has made people doubt her story.

Some have said her story is inconsistent because it can’t have happened the way she said it did if she waited to make sure he wore a condom.
