Assistant pastor allegedly faints as head pastor publicly proposes to ‘their’ girlfriend

Pandemonium struck in the midst of the congregation as the pastor fainted after the senior pastor publicly proposed to his supposed girlfriend.

Confusion gathered at a church in Oyo when a supposed senior pastor engaged a young lady during a program in Ekiti.

The senior pastor reportedly proposed marriage to the girlfriend of his assistant pastor, and it caused murmurs among members of the church

However, there was a twist as the lady in question has been dating the assistant pastor and head pastor but to the surprise of many, neither of them knew about the other.

It was gathered that the lady was also the choir mistress of the church.

During the church program, the clergyman decided to surprise her by openly proposing to her where his assistant was present, standing at the alter.

The senior clergyman went down on one kneel, brought out a proposal ring, and, in a public gathering, asked for her hands in marriage.

She said Yes and stretched her hand for the senior cleric to put the ring.

The assistant cleric passed out on the pulpit after seeing her accept the proposal. Some men later revived him and the reason for his collapse was discovered by the senior pastor.
