Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) speaks on Genevieve Nnaji’s rumoured health issue
The Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, has shown their concern towards Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji after she was alleged to be suffering from a mental illness.
Many expressed concern after a controversial blogger came out with the claim that the actress is suffering from a mental breakdown due to drug abuse.
Reacting to the rumours, The AGN has said it knows nothing about the mental health problems which the actress is alleged of having.
This was just a day after Genevieve Nnaji deleted all her posts on Instagram.
The President of the AGN, Emeka Rolland, told NAN that Genevieve’s exit from Instagram was news to him too.
Nevertheless, he promised to reach out to the actress to know if she was safe.
“I will have to reach out to her since I am just getting this news from you now. I have not learnt of that.
”I’ll reach out to her to know whether she is safe or not after your call. I cannot just conclude with hearsay or rumour,” he said.
