Actor, Osuofia speaks on refusing N10 million from APC to endorse Tinubu
Popular Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh, mostly known as Osuofia has reacted to claims that he rejected N10 million to endorse APC Presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In some tweets dated Monday, August 1, the actor, Osuofia was said to have allegedly rejected the N10 million the All Progressive Congress, APC offered him in other to use his fame to endorse its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, 86, ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
This then led to rumors that the veteran had refused a N10m offer to endorse the APC presidential candidate.
Reacting to the tweets, the vice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, tweeted saying, “I have always known Nkem Owoh as a good actor, but didn’t even know he also has standard and integrity.”
However, when Sahara Reporters reached out to the actor on Tuesday afternoon, to confirm the speculations that he turned down the APC monetary offer, he said he has no interest in politics.
