2Face won’t take any banter on his wife, Annie Idibia, not even when it involves Tiwa Savage.
The renowned Nigerian musician took on to social media to quick set the record straight after an online banter resulted from a fan making cheeky comparisons between his wife, Annie Idibia and star singer, Tiwa Savage.
Innocent Idibia, otherwise known as 2Baba or 2Face, didn’t hesitate to reply the fan, insisting there was no comparison between the two.
Annie Idibia, who is famously an actress but has been away from the scene for some time, recently announced her return to the country with images posted on her Instagram account.
The catalyst for 2Baba’s response came in the form of a fan’s comment on Annie’s post, where the fan expressed admiration for Annie’s style but noted a resemblance to Tiwa Savage.
“Mummy why are you giving @tiwasavage vibe. Love you too much ma,” the fan affectionately commented.
In response, Annie shared the fan’s comment on her Instagram story with a playful caption, “Tiwa Ma Pa Wa Oooo £100M. Mama’s home babyyyyy Living her soft life nicely n quietly”.
However, it was 2Baba’s comment that caught attention, as he took to the comment section to playfully defend his wife against the comparison. He asserted that while Tiwa Savage may be a beautiful woman, she doesn’t hold a candle to the beauty of his wife, Annie.
“Abegi, she no even fine reach my baby sef,” the singer affectionately wrote, asserting his unwavering admiration for his wife.
The exchange on social media sparked reactions among fans, with many praising 2Baba’s loyalty and affection towards Annie.
