Young CEO Equips School Children In His Town With IT Skills

Editi Effiong, the founder and CEO of Anakle, a digital marketing agency, has empowered school children in his village with tech skills.

Editi Effiong made this charity work known on Twitter when challenged by a Tweep for rising concerns over the development index in Lagos.

According to him, he has empowered every child in his community with the requisite computer skills to be relevant in modern society.

The tweep had told him to compare the level of development in Lagos state with his village and say which is better.

In response, the techpreneur said that he had ensured that every elementary school student in his town had access to a computer. Editi also said that they are taught to code and given internet access.

He shared photos to back up his claim and wrote,”My village has running water.

But the most important development index for me is that every child attending primary school there can use a computer, has internet access and has learned to code.
