“Why I married a Muslim” – Mercy Aigbe
Popular Nigerian actress Mercy Aigbe have revealed why she had married her Muslim husband in April, filmmaker Kazemeant I am comfortable; I have kids. So, it is because of love that I remarried.
“I am such a lover girl. I am very emotional. I love love. I just decided on my own to convert to Islam because I love my husband so much.
“When it comes to religion, I am a very liberal person. I love my husband so much and he is a very religious person. So, I just felt that after COVID-19, I was already struggling with going to church so I just decided to follow my husband’s religion.
“Converting to Islam made our bond tighter and sweeter. And it is exciting for me because I am learning the religion and at the end of the day, we are serving one God.”
