“Why abandone us?” Abule-Ado explosion victim questions God [VIDEO]
On Sunday March 15th, multiple explosions rocked the Abule Ado area of Lagos state, killing over 15 persons and destroying over 50 homes.
The explosion which occurred at about 8am on Sunday morning forced several residents and Christian worshipers who had gone to church in the area scampered for safety.
An all-girls boarding school around the area, Bethlehem international catholic school, was razed down. Properties worth billions of naira destroyed while firefighters appear overpowered by the fire as three water tankers are yet to quench the fire.
A video of one of the victims wailing and questioning God has surfaced online. The young man wept as he asked God why he has ”forsaken and abandoned” him and his family. He added that ”this is not how he planned his 2020.”
