Video trends as American tourist gets killed by Elephant

A tragic incident unfolded during a safari expedition in Zambia as a bull elephant charged at a safari vehicle, resulting in the death of an 80-year-old American tourist and injuries to several other tourists.

The harrowing event occurred on Saturday, March 30, during a photography tour organized by Wilderness Zambia. The group, consisting of six tourists, including the deceased woman, was exploring the wilderness when they encountered the aggressive elephant.

According to reports from the Telegraph, the unidentified American tourist was fatally injured when the bull elephant charged at their safari vehicle, flipping it over multiple times.

Distressing footage captured by one of the passengers shows the terrifying moment as the elephant aggressively approached the vehicle, ultimately causing it to overturn.

Keith Vincent, CEO of Wilderness Zambia, provided a statement regarding the incident, explaining that the group was on a game drive when the unexpected attack occurred.

Despite the efforts of the experienced guides, the vehicle was unable to evade the charging elephant due to the terrain and vegetation.

Tragically, the elderly woman succumbed to her injuries, while another woman from the group remains hospitalized. The remaining four tourists sustained minor injuries during the violent encounter.
