A heartwarming video has surfaced on X platform on Friday capturing the heartfelt welcome extended by local communities in the Northeast region to heroic Nigerian Army troops.

The troops, who recently completed a successful operation in Sambisa and Timbuktu Triangle as part of Operation Desert Sanity III, were greeted with cheers and appreciation.

The warm reception comes as a fitting tribute to the valiant efforts of the troops in securing the region and combating insurgency.
