Top Kenya TV Stations Banned Over Violated Content On Exorcism

The communications Authority of Kenya(CA) has reportedly suspended broadcasting by the world Evangelism TV(New Life Communications Ltd) and Times TV (Good News Media Kenya Lyd).

This  statement was given by the communications Authority of Kenya.

According to the report, after examining the aired content done by the two TV stations in latest April 2023, the Authority concluded that the TV stations had violated the standards and requirement of broadcasting.

The World Evangelism TV had reportedly aired inappropriate content on exorcism and committed 12 other violations.

The CA director general Ezra Chiloba said they have established that the TV stations violated broadcasting standards requirements and license conditions.

“The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has suspended with immediate effect any further broadcasting by the World Evangelism TV (New Life Communications Ltd) and Times TV (Good News Media Kenya Ltd),” Chiloba said.

Both stations are still under investigations as regards the matter on hand.
