Toni Braxton Confirms Her Engagement To Birdman

It’s official: Toni Braxton is engaged!

In a trailer for the upcoming season of Braxton Family Values, the Grammy-award winning songstress confirmed what many have been speculating for months — she’s set to walk down the aisle!

“I have an announcement to make,” she told her sisters, “I’m engaged!”

Showing off her massive canary yellow rock, Braxton shouted with glee as she shared the news that Birdman popped the question.

The 50-year-old singer and the New Orleans native began dating in 2016 and made their first appearance as a couple at the BET Hip-Hop awards that June.

Braxton emerged with the sparkling ring on her finger in November at the Soul Train Awards and had many guessing that she and Birdman were already set to walk down the aisle.

Birdman already has the stamp of approval from some of the women in Toni’s life, including her younger sister Tamar and her mother, Evelyn.

“I think he is a nice man,” Braxton said as a blessing to her eldest daughter’s relationship in 2016. “I don’t care what others say about him. He is a nice man. He is full of respect.”
