The Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has urged President-elect Bola Tinubu to stop celebrating his victory in the recent elections.

In a press conference held in Akure, Ondo State, Giwa called on Tinubu to return the certificate issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and warned that Nigerians would reclaim their mandates.

Giwa’s statement comes amidst protests from opposition parties, including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP), who allege fraud in the electoral process.

The electoral body, however, has dismissed the allegations and promised to do better in the governorship and state assembly poll.

Giwa, while addressing the media, warned that there would be no Nigeria if Tinubu takes the leadership mantle from President Muhammadu Buhari on May 29. He described Tinubu as biblical Abimelech, the son of Gideon in the book of Judges Chapter 9.

Giwa also stated that he doubts if Tinubu would be the one to transform Nigeria and lead the people to God.

He further added that there will be ethnic and religious crises if this injustice stands. Giwa stressed that forcing oneself on people is dangerous and can have painful repercussions.
