The Reason We Could Beat Them—Thomas Frank

Thomas Frank is very much the happy man after going to bed early following a victory against Liverpool in the premier league at the back of his thoughts on Monday night.

Brentford gave the Reds of Merseyside pretty much a shocker they did not expect after Liverpool had scrambled through a 3 points victory in their last game against Leicester City.

But this time, there was no inside man in the Brentford team to gift the Reds the luxury of an own goal to twist results to their favor, and if anything Liverpool were the ones who rode themselves to a corner in the eventual defeat considering a woeful performance in instances within the game.

According to Thomas Frank, the manager of Brentford, he provided a detailed explanation on how his team could get in behind Liverpool and upset the Reds in a 3-1 victory on Monday night in the Premier League fixture.

Thomas Frank claimed that his team’s mentality, determination, hard work, and camaraderie helped Brentford defeat Liverpool at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The 49-year-old Danish coach saw The Bees overcome Jurgen Klopp’s team at home due to goals from Bryan Mbeumo, Yoane Wissa, and Ibrahima Konate (own goal).

For Liverpool, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain did score a goal against the home team.

“What a night! I can’t praise the players enough, they are incredible.

“The attitude, effort, hard work and togetherness – everything they put together to beat a team like Liverpool,” Frank told BBC Sport.
